At' Pukcteraki on Sunday the funeral took plaoa of Mr Charles Woods, 29 who the Dimedin Hospital last Ihursday. Deceased, who was tho son of Mr Thomas Woods, of Pukcteraki volunteered for service with the Main Body but was rejected by the doctors. He' 'then showed a fine spirit by working his r. home as a trimmer, and was accented for service in tho Imperial army. He v.-as invalided back to Now Zealand about a year ago.
