MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
Our' Lawrence correspondent writes that Mr Chalmers, the present mayor, was re-elected to that position by a majority of. 14 over his opponent, Mr D. M'lntosh. •
Oar Arrowtown correspondent telegraphs : "/The mayoral election at Arrowtown resulted as follows .—Mr William Butler, 36; Mr H. Graham, 17. At Queenstown, Mr F. St. Omer was returned unopposed."
