THE EXHIBITION.

Queenstown, April 21. A rather small but good meetiug in connection with the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition was held here last evening. The Mayor (Mr St. Omer) was iv the chair. Mr O'flteara (county chairman), Dr Donaldson (Mayor of Arrowtown), and other representatives were present. Mr D. Harris Hastings (the secretary) addressed the meeting, and explained the objects of the exhibition and benefits likely to result to Lake County. A number of questions were answered, after which committees were elected for Queenstown and Arrowtqwn, and sub-committees for the Head of the Lake, Pembroke, Skippers, Cardrona, Macetown, and other places. Mr Hotop was appointed secretary.
