Fat Sheep.—About 500 came to market, which epld at a alight advance on.late quotations. We sold privately for delivery^ 1000 merino wethers at prices equal to 2d per lb. We quote prime quality 2& per lb. Store Cattle.—No transactions, V(e have for sale a very fine herd of 300 mixed cattle, South, which are well worthy the attention of buyers. •..„••• ; Store Sheep.—No transactions. We have enquiries for good half-bred and merino lamos and wethers. ; ' . Horses.—There is a fair demand for good draught stock, and horses adapted.fdr coaching purposes, but light and inferior animals are difficult of sale. /. Country Sale.—On the 26th instant we held a sale of farming stock at the farm of C, T. Ick, Esq., near Waikouaiti, which drew a large attendance of fcuyers, and competition was spirited. Fat cattle brought L 6 10s to L 8 ; dairy cows, L 5 5s to LlO 15a ; two-year old heifera, L 3 15s ; Calves, LI 4s; draught horses, L 26 to L4l, light ditto, L 7 toL!4. ;: : : .
