M'Manaway, Surveyor, to sell by Public Auction, at his great Land Sale, to be holden at the Mart, Noah's Ark, on Th'Ursdat, 16th November, 1854, the following first rateproperties, viz.: — Town Lands.

rFOWNr F0WN ACRE No. 192,; having a ■*• frontage on Wellington Terf&ce, opposite the residence of v Kenneth Bethiine, Esq., and adjoining the Union Bank of Australia. This acre is pleasantly 6ituated and commands a most extensive view of the Harbor, ranging from the head of the Bay to the Valley of the Hutt, is easily approached, and when laid out will form one of the prettiest Villa residences in town, its close proximity to the leading buildings, public offices, wharfs, &c, renders it peculiarly valuable. Town Acre No. 944, Rintoul-street, corner of Riddiford and Eevans street, situated near the Barracks, on the high road, and is admi-

This truly delightful property, from its picturesque position, desirable situation, being on the high load to the Hutt, and commanding an unlimited view of the harbour, renders it totally unnecessary for the Auctioneer to remark upon it, being so well known to the inhabitants of the Province. The house is substantially built of Van Diemen's Land timber on a brick foundation, has a good pump, and constant supply of excellent water, with capital brick drainß and sewers, which render the whole premises remarkably dry and healthy. It is delightfully situated, commanding an extended and uninterrupted view of both ends of the Town and Harbour, and being, in fact, one of the mnst interesting situations in the Town or neighbourhood for a private residence. It is accessible from both approaches to Wellington Terrace, and has a right of road from the beach on Lambton-quay. The property which is very pleasantly situated is held on lease for 21 years of which 18 years and 10 months remain unexpired, at the low rental of £8 per annum, there is a quarter of an acre of ground, and a Cottage, let to a respectable tenant for £10 10s. per year, so enabling the purchaser to live entirely rent free. The very agreeable situation, and the close approximation of this residence to the centre of business will render farther comment from the Auctioneer unnecessary.
