EDEN PARK GAME WELLINGTON AND AUCKLAND. The return representative cricket match between Auckland and Wellington will be commenced at Eden Park this morning at 11 o'clock. The Wellington team arrived yesterday and it* «aid to tie a (Stronger combination than the one which suffered an outright defeat by Auckland at the iiauin Reserve during the Christinas holidays. Five changes have been maue in the visiting side, and AucklanUers will he pleased to welcome A* M. Matheeon, the former New Zealand and Auckland representative, and R. W. stehr, who some seasons back was opening batsman for the i'arneil Club, i'he Wellington team will he captained by F. H. L. Mooney, who has the reputation of being a good wicketkeeper. Also included in the side is N. Hoar, former Wairarapa and Manawatu representative, who nas shown good form with the bat. H. F. Kioe, who is playing his first representative match, scored IU7 in a club game this season. One change has been made in the Auckland side which played a drawn game with Canterbury at New Year. P. E. Whitelaw, the opening batsman, who has gone overseas, has been replaced by JR. W. G. Emery. The latter'* allround performances gained him representative honours a few seasons ago. Auckland appears to be strong in batting, but the bowling strength to still a doubtful quantity. The bours of play will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1.45 p.m. to 3.45 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The match will be continued tomorrow and concluded on Monday Bellowing are the teams; —
