YACHTSMAN'S FATE
RECOVERY OF BODY The body of Mr. Edward Victor Tomlin, aged '23, of Croydon Road, New Lynn, was found yesterday afternoon, floating near the shore on the Biikenhead side of Little Shoal Bay, approximately four miles from Fowler's Beach, where he was drowned while swimming from a yacht on Sunday. Deceased's brother, Mr. L. It. Tomlin, accompanied by Mr. E. R. Hanson, part-owner of the yacht from which deceased was drowned, found the body while searching for it' from a launch. An inquest will be opened by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, this afternoon.
