THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, £ and the La'dy Bledisloe left yesterday for Paihia, Bay of Islands, to discuss on the spot the rehabilitation of- the Waitangi 4? estate. They are the guests of Mr. Vernon Reed. Their Excellencies will return to Auckland at the wedk-end and will ceed to Wellington by Sunday evening'* express. Their Excellencies will arrive in Christchurcli on August 7 and will remain there until August 13. ;
