HOTEL TITIRANGI.
OPENING THIS AFTERNOON. The new Hotel Titirangi, on the Auck-land-Tit irangi road, 11 miles from the city, will he officially opened by the Rf. Hon. J. G. Coates this afternoon. Thn hotel commands splendid views of the Manukau Harbour and the neighbouring bush, and is surrounded by grounds which are being prepared by an expert landscape gardener. No effort has been spared to cater for the comfort of guests, and the furnishing and interior decoration have been carried out on a lavish scale. Suites of rooms with bathrooms attached are a special feature, while hot and cold water are in every bedroom. A system of central heating has been installed, while an electric elevator is included in the equipment of the hotel. A tearoom and cabaret to accommodate 200 people opens on to a spacious balcony, while the hotel dining room, on the first floor, is the height of comfort. The floors are covered with handsome carpets anil the furniture is in dark oak. Guests arriving by motor-car drive directly into the garage . . The road from the city is 111 good order. A special opening ball will bo held at the hotel this evening.
