DEATH BY DROWNING.
WHAU CREEK FATALITY. A verdict of accidental drowning was returned by Mr. E. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner. at the inquest on Saturday concerning tlio death of Stanley Carlton Turner, aged 5 years, who was drowned in tlio Whau Creek, Avondalc, on Friday afternoon.
The child, was the adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Turner, New Lynn. While playing with other children, the child fell into tho water and was drowned.
