To Heuheu Tukino , (I.). ■ ' Eastern: *Wi Pero (G.), Apiraua Ngata (G.), Ihaia Hutana (G.), Mohi To Atahikoia *(0.), Tuheke Kohero, and Tiki Paaka. • Southern: *Tamo Parata (G.), Wiwi Taia:roa, John Hopero Wharewiti, Uru Tuiti 'Mahetauara, and Hoaua Maru. . ■ WESTERN. Heiiaro Kaihau, 0; Eruera To Kahu, 3; Te.Heuheu Tukino, 61; Pitiera Taipua, 0; Hare Teimana, 8; Weraroa Kingi, 11. It is stated, that a number of Maoris who were present and wanted to vote could not obtain registration of their vote, owing to the slowness of the proceedings. It is alleged that a protest is to bo entered, owing -to some 24- Maori voters, who were in attendance, being ordered away without their having chance to vote, although- they were awaiting their chance some time, prior to ■ the closing of the poll at four p.m. ' • ' v Paeroa, Wednesday. A fair amount of interest was taken by the natives at Paeroa to-day in the election for a member for the Western Maori elec!toral district. The proceedings were very 'orderly. The voting at Paeroa was as follows :--Hen are Kaihau, 103; Eruera Te Kahu, 43; Te Huetieu Tukiro, 2; Pitiora Taipua, 0; Hare Teimana, 0; Weraroa Kiugi, 0. ■■-.<■ ■>.
