'OTICE is hereby given that a Board of three I Medical Officers having been constituted by order of Government, all persons who have obtained Exemption 25th August must attend at the Exemption Office for reexamination before the Medical Board, and afterwards before the Exemption Board, for the purpose of having their names registered. All Exemptions on medical certificates granted previous to the 25th August, are to be considered as annulled. NOTICE. fTIHE undermentioned Officers have been constituted a 1 Board to hear applications (based on grounds of public advantage) from persons asking relief from Militia Service:— LIEUT.-COLONEL HAULTAIN, LIEUT.-COLONEL NATION, MAJOR CAMPBELL. The Board will meet daily at the Militia Exemption Office, Shortland-street (late Newman & Ewen's), between the hours of 1 and 2 p.m., to dispose of applications which will be received and registered at any time during office hours by the Clerk of the Board. The Board are directed to rehear all cases already decided by the Government; all such applications must therefore be renewed, Applications from Government Contractors will be first disposed of, and other applications afterwards according to priority of registry. 28th July, 1863. No. 1,233. 4 NY Volunteer for actual service can be sworn in jL and enrolled at the Militia Office on any day during office hours. A certificate of enrolment will be delivered to each Volunteer, and his pay and rations will commence as soon as lie reports himself at the Camp, Otahuhu, to Major Pitt, the Commanding Officer, which place will for the present be the Headquarters of the Force. The pay will be 2s. 6d. per diem, and the rations such as supplied to H. M.'s Regular Forces. The clothing will consist of 1 cap. 1 blue shirt or jumper, 1 pair of trousers, 2 pairs of boots, 1 pair gaiters, and 1 greatcoat, furnished at the expense of the Government.
