. o We give below a corrected list of the votes recorded at the various polling places in this election, by which it will be seen that Mr. Shephard has been elected by a large majority. At the Tiraumea the poll clerk had an easy time of it, not one vote being recorded there throughout the day.
Shephard. Baigent. Spring Grove 47 23 Lower Wakdield 21 11 Upper Wakefleld 17 19 Motueka Valley 7 8 Wan^apeka 31 26 Matakitaki 26 4 Tiraumea 0 0 149 91 Majority for Shephard 58. The poll will be declared oa Monday next.
