The s.b. Lady Bird, Captain lusher, arrived in harbour yesterday, at 8 am; loft Wellington oil Thursday, at 2 pm, and sailed for Dunedin, via intermediate ports, at 4.30 pm. Thh s.s. Airedale, Captain Kennedy, sailed for Dunedin yesterday, at 1 pm. The s.s. Bangatira arrired in harbour yesterday, at 11 am, from Napier, with a cargo of wool for the Queen Bee. She will leave for Hokitika direct at 1 pm this day. The s.s. Lord Ashley will tail for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland, this day, at 1 pm, with a full cargo of grain for the latter port. The p.s. Comerang will sail for Dunedin, via intermediate ports, this day, at 6 pm. The clipper schooner Black Hawk, arrired in horbour yesterday from l'aranaki. We are obhged to Captain Swanson for papers. The ship Mermaid, Captain Bose, cleared the Customs late last night, and is expected to sail for England to-morrow morning. The Mermaid has a full cargo of wool, and a full complement of passengers, anungat the Utter being sereral old colonists.

It is intimated by the agents, that passengers by the Mermaid must be on board by six o'clock this evening. The vessel will sail immediately after the arrival of the last train from Christohurch.
