No. 3.," it is enacted that a special general meeting; of certain Trustees therein named may at any time be called by any three Trustees, by a public advertisement, of the same in a public newspaper published in the Canterbury Settlement, three times at the least, the first of such times being fourteen days at the least before "■ the day of meeting. NOTICE, THE Commissioner of Crown Lands having advertised the Town Reserves at Christchurch for Sale by Public Auction ou the 13th of May next, I hereby give Notice that such Town Reserves have been duly appropriated by the Canterbury Association, and are legally vested in that body for the miscellaneous purposes specified in their charter. The Commissioner of Crown Lands has no authority to sell the same. No sale by him of such lands Avill be valid ; and proceedings will be taken at law against all trespassers.
