TWO VESSELS, the " Hover"' and "Catharine Johnstone" will sail for the above-mentioned places on Monday, the 23rd ihst., at 8 o'clock in the morning, returning the following day. Tickets, £1 each, to include refreshments. A Steward will accompany each, vessel, and the comfort of all will be attended to, the vessels heing fitted up entirely for the occasion. Mr." •Alpovt's proposition, " That it is highly desirable to introduce the Government Land Regulations within the Canterbury block, with the view of rendering the price of land in this settlement conformable to that of the other settlements of New Zealand ; and that a Memorial, to be signed by the Inhabitants of Lyttelton, be forwarded to the General Government to effect such object."
