NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next General Meeting of the Society of Land Purchasers will be held at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Thursday the Ist January, 1852, at 1 p.m., when a new President and Council will be elected, in accordance with the 7th rule. Candidates for a seat in the new Council are requested to send in their names to me on or before Wednesday the 17th inst., that being the latest day upon which the names of Candidates may be published. The attention of members is particularly called to the Bth rule, by which it is required that all voting papers must be signed and witnessed.
