WAKAPUAKA, March 21. A bottle-nosed whale, resembling Pelorus Jack, has been washed ashore at the south end of D'Urville Island. The fish, which is a male, had been dead about a week, and is decomposed and mutilated. Mr G. Webber, postmaster at French Pass, thinks the ,fish is Pelorus Jack, and he is now endeavoring to find out when Jack was last seen by navigators.
