THOUSANDS OF AVAR. TROPHIES. The Warniana. which arrived at Auckland yesterday with troops, had on board thousands of war trophies, including samples of practically every German lighting device. V 4.2 howitzers, hundreds of machine guns, bundles of lilies, a trench mortar aud its liUiugs (including the bed. extra barrel, arrd elevator), several crates of aeroplane wings, and an aeroplane engine, hospital beds, barrack beds, trench clubs, body armour, dug-out frames t gas masks, smoke screen producers and numberless other objects.
