A -match was played on the racecourse yesterday afternoon between teams representing Standards V. and VI. of the Lytton-street and the Man-chester-street schools, resulting in a win for Lytton-street by 12 points to 3. For the victors, George Beck scored a try and kicked a penalty goal, and Claude Mexted and W. Smith each scored a try. Eric West scored the MaaLohesier-street team's only try. Mr C. McLean was the referee. Mr Haybittle's Feilding orchestra >has been engaged to supply the music at tho Rannitikei Club's ball at Bulls.
