SCHOOL EXAMINATION.

The Lyfcton Street school was examined on June 2nd by Dr. Smyth and Mr Milne. Before dismissing the school Dr. Smyth, at the request of the head-master, after an appropriate speech, presented the prizes given by the committee for the best compositions on the " Excursion to Wanganui."
