BUCHANAN.—On September 1. 1900, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs James Stevenson, Dvtntroon, Mrs John Buchanan, mother of Gilbert Buohanan, Great King street; aged 93. YATES.—On the 31st August, at his residence, Helena street, litzroy, South Dunedin, Charles, the beloved husband of Jane Yates (and father of C. E. Yates, of Invercargill); aged 61 years. At rest.—Flowers respectfully declined. BTJSBY.—On the 31st' August, Isabella Davidson, beloved daughter of Samuel and Ann Busby, 88 Arthur street; aged 15* years ttnd 8 months. Deeply regretted. SANDERSON.—On the 31st August, at Grangelea, Higholiff, John Alexander, dearly Beloved husband of Jessie Sanderson; aged f 47 years.
