DECISIONS ON MONDAY

Final counts of civilian votes in many more electorates were announced by the Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. L. Irwin, today, and it is expected that on Monday sufficient information on the forces' voting will be available from overseas to decide the issue in 13 electorates in which there are close contests. These electorates are Oamaru, New Plymouth, Raglan, Wairarapa, Eden, Waitemata, Otaki, Nelson, Motueka, Eastern Maori, Hamilton, Mariborough, and Palmerston North. The issue is most doubtful in New Plymouth.
