Lord Derby's br c Lighthouse n, by Pharos —Pyramid : 1 F. Darling's b c Pont l'Eveque, by. Barneveldt —Ponteba 2 Lady Beatty's br c Black Toni, by Felstead —Miss Ascot 3 Fifteen started. Won by five lengths, with half a length between second and third. Winner bred in France by owner. Lighthouse II was rated the best two-year-old in France last season. He and Pont l'Eveque were not in the original Derby entries but were nominated for the New. Derby, which is scheduled to be run next month. Pont l'Eveque was raced last season by th« late Mr. H. E. Morriss.
