GUARDS ORDERED TO FIRE

(By Telegraph —Press Association —Copyright.)

LONDON, July 22,

An official communique issued in Warsaw states that Poland is not surprised at the pacific pronouncement from Berlin concerning Danzig. Such statements usually mean that Germany is considering some change of plans. The communique repeats that any attempt to reincorporate Danzig in the Reich will call for appropriate action. The Polish frontier guards have been instructed to open fire in every instance of frontier violation.
