It was reported, at today's meeting of the - Featherston County Council that Mr. Quentin Donald, of Tauraha,; had been elected to the extraordinary: vacancy on.the council caused,by the. death of his father, who had been a. member for 30 years. Mr. Donald is ■an All Black. He played in three Tests during the tour of the unbeaten 1924 New Zealand team. His was the only nomination for the vacancy.
