AUCKLAND, September 6,

At a meeting of members of the National Party in the Onehunga electorate, Mr. J. Park was selected as official candidate to oppose the sitting Labour member, Mr. A. G. Osborne, at the General Election. Mr. Park has lived in the Onehunga district for many years. He is a former Mayor of the borough, and is a member of the Auckland Electric Power Board. He is an architect by profession.
