THEY KNEW ABOUT PASCH

In a letter written from Shanghai last November to Mr. Ken. Austin, Mr. H. E. Morriss referred to his recent English Two Thousand Guineas winner Pasch, and evidently had no misconceptions as to' the colt's class when he wrote. . Mr, Morriss stated: "I am sending my mare Pasca to Donatello II next season, as she has a very good Blandford two-year-old,colt—which did not come out this year. He may, however, be heard, of next year in the classic races, as he is very good. He is called Pasch. The same mare has a rather nice Singapore colt foal this year called Paques. . . As Pasch won the Two Thousand Guineas in easy sty}?. Mr. Morriss's reference to his ability to gallop as a two-year-old has been .well borne out. Pasch is now favourite for the Derby.
