LYTTELTON SEAT
NATIONAL CANDIDATE
Mr. S. F. Marshall, secretary of the Chrislchurch Citizens' Committee Association, has been announced as the Nationalist candidate for the Lyttelton scat.
Mr. Marshall is a son of the late Mr. George Marshall, who was a wellknown Canterbury representative cricketer many years ago. Ho was born at Napier, in 1898, and educated at the Chrisetchurch Boys' High School. He served during the war with the Canterbury Infantry Battalion, and for four years afterwards was unemploy-. ment officer under the Repatriation Department. He has taken an active interest in the work of the Returned Soldiers' Association, of which he is a member. He is a member of the Poultry Board, and secretary of the Canterbury Egg Export Committee.
