BULLER SEAT

NATIONALIST CANDIDATE

Mr. John H. Powell, of Charleston, has been selected by the Dominion Executive of the National Political Federation to contest the Buller seat in the interests of the National Party. Mr. P. C. Webb at present represents Buller for Labour.

Mr. Powell is chairman of the Buller County Council, and in addition to having been a member of the Westport Borough Council, the Westport Harbour Board, and the Buller Hospital Board, he is a past president of the Buller A. and P. Association.
