The female Polar'bear at the Auckland Zoo, which is shortly to be transferred to the .Adelaide Zoo, will leave for her new home at the end of this month. A special travelling box has been prepared for the bear, and in order that she may become accustomed to her temporary quarters before sailing for Australia, the hear receives her food in the box and spends a considerable amount of time there.
