NESTLING
ROBIN BEATS TOA KAHA
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
HASTINGS, 21st July.
Strenuous wrestling was seen hi Hastings to-night, when Ike Robin (17fet 121b) defeated Toa Kaha (15st 31b) by a fall in the fourth round. The bout went the full distance, and the spectators were amazed at the endurance shown by both Native giants. The younger Maori, though more scientific, had to give way' to superior ringcraft and greater -weight. The only fall came about as the result of a headlock followed by a body press.
