Mr; Eugene Durr, a well-kno^n Wellington resident, died in a private hospital yesterday; at the age of 53 years. TJie late.; Mr. Durr . was secretary ■ and a director of the "Templeton Tunnel Construction Company,: now ■engaged-! upon the construction of the Wainui tunnel. .A resident •of Kew Zealand for nearly thirty years, Mr, Durr has been in Wellington, for about twelve years, and was well known as a former foreman for the Public "Works Department, and also .foreman, fpr tljgiHataitai Land Company in .connection, with that company's later roading schemes.
