ENTHUSIASTIC GATHERING
Splendid enthusiasm; marked the annual swimniing - sports of;' the Wellington East Girls' College, held yesterday at Te Aro Baths. Members .of the Board, of Governors who attended were Messrs. J. G. Mitchell (chairman), W. H. P. Barber, and'.W. H. Den ton. Among others present w:ere Miss V. Greig, principal of the college, Miss Kersuaw, Mrs. Taylor (sports mistress), representatives "of the Parents' Association, and many parents and friends. The senior championship was won by Ine^ Staples, with-Olga Jacks6n runnerup. Zoe GrOver won the;junior championship, and Olga • Smith "was runner-up., Results were ? as' follows:— ' - ■•''
