McDonald, of Wellington, has been unanimously selected by a representative meeting of Wairarapa Liberals at Cartorton as the official United Party candidate for tho Wairarapa seat. Mr. William Thompson, of Palmerston North, has been, selected as official United Party candidate for tho Masterton seat with the approval of the local committee of the party.
