UNIVERSITY COUNCIL
GRADUATES' SEATS!
The election by Court of Convocation of the live .graduates' representatives on the newly-constituted Council of the University of New Zealand has resulted in.the return of Professor J. Macm'illan Brown, Mr. F. A. de la Mace, Mr. C. MD. Gilray, Mr. P. Milner, and Mr. T. U. "Wells. The representatives of Victoria College on the council will be Sir Robert Stout and Mr. F. H. Bakewell, and Mr. T. K. Sidey, M.P., and Mr. W. J. Morrell will represent the Council of the University of Otago. The Auckland and. Canterbury University representatives have not yet been announced. The four Government nominees are Mr. T. E. Fleming, the Hon. J. A. Hanau, M.L.C., Mr. T. H. Mac^y, and Mr. W. B. Montgomery
The other members of the council will be the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, three professors to represent the Academic Board, and the Director of Education.
