MELBOURNE, 31st March. On board the steamer Persic, which arrived to-day, are over 300 South African animals . for the Auckland Zoo the largest consignment of the sort ever sent to. Melbourne. The consignment includes zebras, bush pigs, apes , c hi m . panzees, baboons, spider 'monkeys, and polecats. .
