AUCKLAND, This Day
Auckland's new zoo is proving a payable proposition. The attendance at the zoo is well maintained, and the total receipts'for the year ending this month will exceed £7000. The takings on Sunday were £105, and the attendance is not only maintained, but is steadily increasing. The £70C0 odd revenue for the past year more than covers the cost of maintenance,' interest, and sinking fund, leaving a substantial balance to worj^s account.
