"Hotspur" writing in the "Daily Telegraph," saye the accident to Town' Guard was more serious than is supposed, as was found on Sunday evening after the work to which the colt was subiected in the morning. Lord Woolavington's Captain Cuttle has also broken down, and may not be seen in public again. Other newspapers do not confirm "Hotspur's" fears regarding Town Guard's wellboing. "Sporting Life" point out that he was given a good mils gallop at Newcastle and moved freely and well.
