THE LATE MR. A.T. BATE
The funeral of the late Mr. Arthur Thomas Bate took place to-day, and was attended by a large gathering, which included members of the Wellington Stock Exchange, officers of the Philatelic Society, members of the Wellesley Club, and representatives of various sports bodies, including Messrs. C. G. Wilson, M. Luckie, and M. J. Crombie (Wellington Cricket Association), and F. J. M'Comisky (Wellington Rugby Union). The service at the Karori, was conducted by Archdeacon Johnson.
