ROTORUA, 25th April.

Rotorua observed Anzac Day strictly. In the afternoon a procession of "blue boys," returned soldiers, cadets, scouts, school children, and two bands marched to the Government Gardens, where a united memorial service, attended by 1500 people, was held. Bishop Sedgwick, Anglican, Presbyterian, and Methodist ministers, and a Salvation Army captain participated. A large number of wreaths ■was laid on the flower beds.

WANGANUI, 25th April.

Anzao Day 1 was fittingly celebrated today. A largely-attended religious service was held in Cook's Gardens, after "whicn' a roll of honour was unveiled at the Soldiers' Club. Returned soldiers were present in considerable force.

OHRISTCHURCH, 25th April.

The weather was dull and overcast for Anzac Day. A big parade of returned soldiers, Territorials, and Cadets marched through the crowdedi streets of the city to King Edward Barracks, where a combined memorial service was held. Afterwards, many wreaths were deposited a.t the Cathedral, where very largely attended services were held throughout the day. The whole of the gatherings throughout the. day were marked by quiet solemnity.

NAPIER, This Day.

The Anzac Day service at tho Municipal Theatre yesterday was largely attended. General Sir A. Russell was the principal speaker. The parade of returned soldiers was very large. Suitable services were held in the outlying districts. At Clive a war memorial was unveiled by General Russell. ' The weather was glorious, and many people took the opportunity of paying their respects to the memories of departed "diggers."
