DANZIG CORRIDOR
INVASION BY SOVIET FORCES.
(Received "August 16, 3 p.m.) BERLIN, 15th August.
The Lokal Anzeiger's Soldau correspondent reports that a Bolshevist division which is attacking the Danzig corridor is expected to storm Thorn, Graudenz, and Posen, and'to reach Danzig from,the north. A Bolshevist division entered Soldau on the 13th, whereupon the Russian commander declared that the captured territory would not again belong to Poland, and 'furthermore that only the 1914 frontiers would be recognised. Forthwith the Russians appointed a committee to govern tha town, excluding all Pojes from it. The Lokal Anzeiger declares that the Germans in Soldau are jubilant, and German flags are again flying.
