FURTHER CASES HEARD
Further cases-in divorce were dealt with by his Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) yesterday afternoon.
MITCHELL v. MITCHELL.
On tho ground of misconduct while he was away on active service. John Mitchell sought a divorce from his-wife, Margaret' Mitchell. Mr. C. H. Treadwell appeared for the petitioner. After heaving evidence relating to respondent's misconduct with a-man named Campbell, »i labourer living in Wellington, a decree nisi was.granted, with costs against corespondent.
POORE v. POORE.
Mr. H. F. O'Leary appeared for Mary Elizabeth Poore, who applied for a divorce from her husband, Frederick Wm. Poore, who,' it was ajleged, had deserted her and her two children in 1911, wheu they were living in Christchurch. She had since supported herself and her' children in Wellington. "A decree nisi was granted, with custody of the children.
ASTON v. ASTON.
Ethel Jean AsCou, for wh_t_ Mr. R. Kennedy appeared, applied for a divorce from her husband, Thomas Henry Aston, who did not appear. Evidence was given that respondent had lived for a period of some days in Wellington with another woman. A decree nisi was granted, with custody of the one child of the marriage.
NORRIS v. NORRIS.
Stanley Herbert Norris sought a divorce from his wife, Florence May Norris, on the ground of.her misconduct, while he was away at the war, wjth one Charles Berry. A decree nisi was granted, with cost, against the co-respondent. Mr P. W Jackson appeared *01' the petitioner;
