Stewart, D.5.0., N.Z.R.8., to temp, command 3rd N.Z.R.8., and is granted the temp. rank of col. whilst so employed. L't R F. R. Beetham, W.M.R., relinquishes the appointment of A.D.C. to G.0.C., N.Z. Division. Lt. W. G. Wood' W.1.R., to be A,D.C. to G.0.C., N.Z. Division. Col. V. S. Smyth, N.Z.S.C., is seconded for duty as second in command, 210 th Infantry Batt. Lt.-Col (temp, col.) R. Young, C.M.G., D.5.0., relinquishes the temp, command of 3rd N.Z.R.8., and the temp, rank of col. -MOUNTED RIFLES. Forgie was tried by General Court-martial on 25th July,; 1917, found guilty of being in possession of a camera, and sentenced to take rank' and precedence in the N.Z.E.F. as if his appointment ibore date of 25th July, 1917, and to be severely reprimanded. N.Z. Pioneer Battalion.—Major C. G Saxby, D.5.0., to be Lt.-Col. and to command the battalion. Major P. H. Buick, D.5.0., relinquishes at his own request the appointment of second in. command, to command a company. Maj. W. 0. Ennis, to be second in command. 2nd Lt. R. J. Kemp, having been declared by a medical board to be permanently unfit for general service, is seconded under provisions by N.Z.E.F. Regulation. Capt. T. Hiroti, M.C, is seconded -for duty as O.C.
