« NEW NAME FOR THE OPPOSITION". t His Majesty's Opposition in New Zealand is to be known under a new name — "The Reform Party' I—according1 — according to Mr. Massey. Speaking ,at Palmerston last night at a conversazione in honour of Mr. D. Buick, M.P., Mr. .Massey declared that many evils had become noticeable since the present Administration came into office, and it would be the duty of the Opposition to do its best to ltmove those evils. "The party now in opposition is the Reform Party," he concluded. "That is the name by which it will be known in the future.
