Montague Lascelles nas resigned the position of agent for ihe Public Trustee at Napier in order that he may contest the local seat for the House of Representatives at the general election. He is to he succeeded by Mr. J. B. Jack, tho Public Trustee's agent at Auckland. Armit, mistress of the Kaitawa School, to be assistant in the primary department of the Petone School; Miss Edith Robinson, to be sole teacher at Whiteman's Valley; Miss Lilian Braithwaite to succeed Miss Olive Dortet as assistant at Carterton ; and, Mr. F. A. Proctor to be assistant at Brooktyn.
