JUDGE FIRED UPON. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, Ist December. The Daily Telegraph's NeAv York correspondent states that the Rev. Isaac Selby, of Australia, shot at Judge Hebbard Avhile hia Honour was seated on the Bench in San Francisco. The shot, however, missed fire, and his Honour escaped uninjured. Selby recently sought a divorce from his wife, and conducted his own case. Judge Hebbard's decree in favour of the clergyman's wife enraged Selby. The Rev. Isaac Selby visited New Zea>land some years ago as a freethought lecturer, and he afterwards joined the Unitarian Church in San Francisco.
