TO THE MECHANICAL. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir — A new method is required for the balloting for a jury. The namcß are placed in the box ; said box revolves. It frequently happens, aa in this session, 4, 5, or 6 of the same names turn up ; this is an error to be guarded against. I would BUggest that the box should revolve whilst the names are being taken out, on the principle of a musical box. Tbo -Reeistrar could stop the rovolutinn when he has the number required. By this process the pieces of card would be distributed. This present system is decidedly unsatisfactory. — 1 am, &c, H. J. L. Auoabde.
