Waimea election. — The returns are :—: — Baigent 88; Shepherd 72. One other small return is to come in, but it will not effect the result. No interest whatever was taken in the ejection, and nothing like half of the electors voted. Motueka election. — Hawthorne 128 ; Parker 86 j Deneker 22. Other returns have to come in, but they are not likely to affect the present position of the candidates.
