WAIUKU. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) April 29.
On Tuesday, the 28th, the nuptials of Ebenezer HamliD, Eeq., of Brookside, and Sarah Grace Bamball, third daughter of Charles Barriball, Esq., of Eden Hill, were celebrated at the residence of the bride's father. A numerous party, cousisting chiefly of the relatives of the happy couple, graced the ceremonials. The Uev, J. Whewell, pastor of the Wesleyau body, tied the indissoluble knot, and the festivities were prolonged at Eden Hill till a late hour. During the evening a party of the settlers rode up to Eden Hill, and surprised the company with a feu-dc joie and three cheers. To-day the wedding party visited the West Coast, and in the evening Mr. tiamlin and hia bride retired to Brookside Villa, carrying with them the beit wishes of the Waiuku commuuity. Mr. Humlin is a gentleman of undeniable public spirit, and identifies himself actively and untiringly in almost every movement of public utility in the neighbourhood ; and we hope be and bis bride will live long and happily at Brookside.
